During it, CCP’s CTO Halldor Fannar and Tony Tamasi from Nvidia (you know, them fellars with the graphics and the dealio), spoke about tesselation, a concept in games that makes it possible to add or substract triangles in models ingame, in real time, depending on your distance from it, forming an effective level of detail.
